spot the irony!

OK, so this is something I swiped from my most recent place of employ. (Whoo unemployed again!) (Not for thieving.)

There was one of these in each cubicle. They're made of a squishy foam, but not soft enough to use as a stress sqeezy thing.

On the far side, which you can't see, on the lowest level it says "LPS." I think this stands for "Loss Prevention System," or something to that effect.

Based on my reading on the company intranet, this pyramid represents my former employer's five-pronged system to eliminate loss. (Loss meaning unexpected loss of property or employees' working hours.)

Each of the abbreviations on there stand for a loss prevention tool, but I can't remember what any of them were. Also I seem to recall that a lot of the abbreviations don't make much sense.

Why doest the lowest level have two tools?

What do the colors mean?

Why are two of the top three layers blank?

I'm assuming that whatever consultant charged the company tens of thousands of dollars to develop this this have answers to all of my questions, and that each of these features has some symbolic meaning.

I really enjoy working for large corporations.

It's on my glass coffee table, which is over a red carpet.

I thought that this was a daring photographic choice that challenged the viewer to really think, and I see that I was correct.
