Last night was Halloween, which doesn't mean much here. My flatmates and I, along with two friends of theirs (not pictured), donned silly hats and went on a neighborhood pub crawl. (More pictures on Facebook.) Halloween does seem to be catching on here, slowly. We witnessed some trick-or-treating and even tried to do a little ourselves. (Yes, we were Those People. I'm so sorry.) We also ran into a couple of twelve-year-old boys who had been assualted by, in their words, some "lads." We all thought that was adorable. I guess in retrospect it was pretty sad--one of them had a bloody nose--but at the time (drunk) it was just delightful. Anyway, these are the people I live with. If you can call this living.

This is just a photo of a photo that was in the window of a glamor shots type place. I really hope the 90's come back soon.

One of the things I do at work is process these forms. ("DB4's.") Check out this amazingly lame signature. The patient in question was a middle-aged women whose name didn't even contain the letter "I." How sorry is your signature when you have to follow it with a written explanation. What the hell.
Tomorrow I'm finally going to Bondi. And then maybe trekking to Cogee for some tainted gelato.
Gelatogate has been the #1 lunch conversation topic all week at work. I can't stress enough how terrible a lunch conversation topic it is. I hope that once the DNA results come out we can put it all behind us.
